The best way to categorize this piece is as a "custom/tailored" shirt for Supreme. Supreme came up with the Chambray theme and put it on a Thom Browne shirt. Plain and simple. Can that constitute as a collab? to some people it will to some people it wont' depends on your perception.

Just because Thom Browne doesn't consider Supreme buying some of his shirts wholesale an "official collaboration", he still would have had to agree to let them do it in the first place. I didn't view this as a collaboration (in the design sense) anyway; why would it be? It's still just a regular, unchanged Thom Browne shirt. His suits and shirts all come with his signature patch showing who it is for and when it was made. Where the interest comes from is the fact that Supreme (a streetwear brand) chose to associate themselves with a well-regarded menswear designer, which is unusual and in some peoples' opinion, a pretty interesting idea. In the end you are still getting the same product - an exceptionally well made (therefore expensive) Thom Browne oxford shirt, co-branded and sold by Supreme. Whether that is worth the money or not is obviously up to you.
